MAKING LIFE EASIER?

I bought an ipad3 the other day with a view to using it for: blogging; for listening to and reading books when I am on the bus; and for general stuff.

This has got to be easier than lugging a laptop around doesn't it?

I've wasted about 4 hours this weekend (my weekend doesn't finish until Tuesday) configurating and syncing the damned thing.

I hope I've done it correctly.

Whenever I assemble a shop-bought product I usually get it wrong.

    Seriously jealous. Wi-Fi or 3G? I am dabbling with the idea of a wi-fi. Checked out price today for comparison with duty free. Love the cat - will steal.

    WiFi
    It can plug into my Mac at home and there are plenty of free WiFi sites around.
    I didn't want a 3G one as I don't want to have to pay Vodafone or Telecom any more - we are charged enough alraedy.

    We bought ours from PB Technologies at Auckland University $999.

    Wow, is that a 64GB? I was looking at a 16GB.
